Name: David Cavins

Details: I was born in Savannah, GA and grew up in Huntsville, Alabama. Since I was young art interested me. My grandmother was an artist and her work always intrigued me. I would sit and watch her work; wishing one day I could be as good as her. In elementary school I taught myself how to draw and during high school my friends and I spent lots of time comparing art work and doodling on our papers. I learned from trying to copy work that I liked and creating my own ideas.

After high school I wanted to major in art. I made this choice because I knew I would enjoy it as a career. I did not want a burdensome job. During college I studied about many new methods and techniques, mainly focusing on graphic design and 3D animation. In May 2003 I graduated cume laude from Southern Adventist University with a BS in Character Animation / Graphic Design

I am a very creative person; always looking for better ways to do things. I am self-motivated, a quick learner, and can work with limited supervision. I have strong organizational abilities as well as good verbal and interpersonal skills. I can effectively manage multiple simultaneous projects and work successfully in a stressful, deadline-oriented environment. God has blessed me with talents and I want to use them in a positive way.
